From Black Sea to Aegean Sea
The initial conference "From Black Sea to Aegean - new opportunities for tourism and the accompanying business" took place on 3th and 4th September 2015 in Keshan, Turkey. The leading project organization is Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the partner one is Chamber of Commerce, Keshan.
The conference was attended by members of the leadership of both chambers, business representatives and journalists. The project objectives, methods of their implementation and expected results were presented to the attendees.
Workshop "From Black Sea to Aegean - new opportunities for tourism and accompanying business"
A workshop on the project "From Black Sea to Aegean Sea - new opportunities for tourism and accompanying business" was held on the 19th and the 20th of October 2015 in Burgas, implemented by the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Burgas and Keshan,Turkey. As Radko Drenchev- the project manager noted, the objective is the promotion of unknown and little - known tourist sites in Bulgaria and Turkey, leading to new opportunities for tourism and accompanying business.
"From Black Sea to Aegean Sea" – a coordination meeting in Keshan
Another coordination meeting of the teams working on a project "From Black Sea to Aegean - new opportunities for tourism and the accompanying business" took place on 16th and 17th of November 2015 in Keshan, Turkey. The leading project organization is Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the partner one is Chamber of Commerce, Keshan.
The meeting also analyzed the project already held events and made a plan for carrying out events the end of the reporting period. Attention was paid to the ongoing parallel analysis of both cross-border region with a view to developing future strategy.
Workshop in Keshan on the project "From Black Sea to Aegean Sea"
On 26th and 27th of November 2015 a delegation of Burgas Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited the city of Keshan, Turkey. The visit was within a project "From Black Sea to Aegean - new opportunities for tourism and the accompanying business" , implemented by BsCCI as a leading organization in partnership with CCI Keshan. The delegation led by Chairman of BsCCI eng. Tcanko Ivanov, included representatives of tourist companies, food companies and representatives of Municipality of Burgas. The purpose of the visit was to conduct a two-day workshop on the exposure draft and discussion of potential natural and cultural - historical sites in the regions of Burgas and Keshan to be involved in developing tourist destinations on both sides of the border.
Discussion forum
The Activity 5 on the project - "Discussion Forum in Burgas" was held on 7th and 8th of December 2015 with the participation of representatives of business circles of the two partner cities and the expert staff who prepared the studies in the regions of Burgas and Keshan.
The program for the two-day event included a visit on the 7th of December to the city of Pomorie - famous for its ancient history and amazing opportunities and conditions for wellness tourism, mud and spa treatments. The guests of Keshan visited the famous hotel "St. George ",where they were presented opportunities for the development of this type of tourism and they participated in a demonstration in one of the hotel spa centers.
Program participants included a visit to the Salt museum in the town of Pomorie, where in an extremely attractive way history in the extraction of salt from Pomorian salina back in ancient times was presented. Guests were amazed by the many preserved antique equipment for the extraction of salt from our ancestors, who in many cases do not yield modern efficient technology.
